Choose around the call, the desk and the time inside
For a call booth beside an open-plan work area, start with Solo and check the furniture configuration against how people will use it. For desk work, a laptop setup or longer individual sessions, compare the larger Solo Plus interior and the selected desk and chair.
Both models are for one person. Solo Plus has a different workspace layout; its extra width and depth do not turn it into a two-person meeting pod. Compare the meeting-pod range when two or more people need to use the space together.
Phone booth, call pod or privacy booth?
These terms often describe the same buying task: creating an enclosed space for one person within a larger workplace. This comparison brings them together so you can evaluate the actual model, usable dimensions and furniture instead of treating every name as a different product.
An indoor office phone booth is designed to sit inside an existing building. FocusPods are indoor only. They are not weatherproof garden rooms or standalone outdoor offices.
Understand acoustic privacy before specifying a booth
The aim is to reduce distraction and improve speech privacy. “Soundproof” does not mean that no sound can enter or leave. The surrounding noise level, the installation and how the booth is used affect the result.
Read the acoustic-performance guide and request the available evidence for the model being considered. For sensitive conversations, assess speech privacy in the proposed location rather than assuming complete confidentiality.
Check more than the floor footprint
- Measure the delivery route, door openings, corners and any lift or elevator, including its load limit.
- Allow for the booth door to open and for people to approach it without obstructing circulation.
- Check assembly, ceiling, ventilation and servicing clearances against the selected specification.
- Review the power supply, furniture, screen position and the equipment people will bring inside.
Compare full dimensions and specifications before fixing the layout. Ventilation circulates air; it is not automatically air conditioning.

Which booth is better for desk work?
Compare Solo Plus first when the desk setup and usable workspace are the priority. Check the exact furniture option and interior dimensions against the user and equipment; footprint alone does not establish ergonomic suitability.
How much does an office phone booth cost?

Can I use one outdoors?
No. FocusPods are for indoor use only. The building must provide the surrounding conditions needed for the selected pod and equipment.
