How to choose an indoor office pod

Start with the work, then choose the space. This guide takes you from individual calls or group meetings to a practical model shortlist and a complete US project brief.

1. Name the job the pod needs to do

Separate short individual calls, desk-based focused work and shared meetings. Record how many people need enclosed space at the same time, not just the total office headcount.

For one person, compare Solo and Solo Plus. For two people, compare Duo and Team. For groups, look at Meet for up to four or Max for up to six, with capacity depending on furniture.

2. Match furniture to the working session

Check the actual desk, table and seating arrangement. Include laptops, screens and the equipment users bring with them. A pod capacity label does not establish that every furniture combination suits every task.

3. Put the full footprint on the plan

Use the original millimeter dimensions alongside the rounded US inches. Add door swing, assembly, ventilation and service clearances, and check the route from the delivery vehicle to the final position.

Use the office-pod space-planning guide to prepare the measurements.

4. Review acoustic and environmental requirements

Decide what speech privacy you need in the surrounding office. Review model-specific acoustic evidence, ventilation, power and any compatible cooling option. FocusPods are indoor only; the surrounding building conditions remain part of the specification.

5. Compare a complete project quote

Confirm the configuration, furniture, freight, destination costs, internal handling and installation scope. Nationwide delivery and installation are available with local teams; the written quote confirms the work and schedule for your address.

Keep one clear shortlist

Compare phone booths or compare meeting pods. Review current USD prices and send the preferred model, quantity, ZIP code and floor plan to the team.

Bring your project together

Start with the people using the pod, the tasks it needs to support and the space available. Send a project enquiry with your model shortlist, quantity, ZIP code and preferred timing, or configure your FocusPod in 3D.

No payment is needed to start a configuration. The approved specification and written quotation set out the scope before you order.
